recording them, ephemerally of course.\u00a0 Sticking to the nyr#2, I have been taking my camera each time I go onto the beach, and in the past few days recorded these\u00a0sets of tracks.\u00a0 Some were man made, and tend to feature shoe and tyre or machinery prints <em>(<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">scroll down to &#8220;Seasonal Diggings&#8221;\u00a0 Jan 28th for a great pic<\/span>)<\/em> \u00a0and others made by a variety of\u00a0other living creatures &#8211; such as birds and dogs and even very delicate fine ones left by tiny shell fish in wet sand down near the water&#8217;s edge.\u00a0 I love how some sets of tracks are overlain by\u00a0others.\u00a0\u00a0 The\u00a0second picture down\u00a0is intriguing:\u00a0surely this is not\u00a0just a circumstantial placement of objects ?\u00a0for there are always holes dug on the beach &#8211; my own DH digs almost constantly when actually sitting down on a beach;\u00a0or is there some story behind this one? &#8230;whatever &#8230;. and\u00a0then the tide comes in and\u00a0it starts all over again.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0These marks show a brief part of the recent\u00a0history of this part of\u00a0the earth&#8217;s\u00a0surface,\u00a0a beach.\u00a0 These are all <em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Timetracks.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tracks &#8211; I never
