Wished I had my camera when I found this pair of sacrificed chickens near the water's edge on the beach this morning.<\/p><\/div>\n

OK – that’s it, I am forced to announce a second resolution\u00a0– from now on the little digital camera is going with me on my walks with the dog – \u00a0there is always something of interest and although I may not post it every day, I plan to take\u00a0at least one\u00a0pic per day.<\/p>\n

Today I almost<\/em> took\u00a0that camera.\u00a0 Silly me – because\u00a0now I can only\u00a0post the above drawing from memory and tell you in words what I saw.\u00a0 The two offered \u00a01\/3 grown chickens lay on beds of corn\/rice\/beans, on styrofoam trays,\u00a0chicken feathers protruding from each side; and these assemblies lay on flattened supermarket bags placed on the wet sand.\u00a0 They’d\u00a0presumably been placed near the receding water’s edge, some time before dawn I imagine.\u00a0 Must get down there earlier ….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
