This blog is my <\/span>visual diary, Part A .<\/span><\/a> <\/font><\/span>which is why I sometimes write about my process here. This and the previous posts combine insights to process with considerations of technical possibilities. After my previous post<\/a>, <\/span>I spent a morning on another sample, working with the same shapes and lines based on the photo heading that post. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusions:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • cut less vertical, wider, shapes to emphasise spreading deltas<\/em><\/li>
  • the row of short upright-ish shapes is good, but could be a bit stockier<\/li>
  • horizontal lines between sections are too wide<\/li>
  • patchwork in some parts, fusion in others? <\/li>
  • achieve more drama with contasting plain fabrics <\/li>
  • consider slight slivers\/dabs of colour<\/li>
  • fme around the basic shapes? <\/li>
  • depending on the scale, break up larger areas with surface design techniques<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
