which are precious for some reason, including practicality.\u00a0 I will never forget an exhibition we saw years ago at the Musee Quai Branley in\u00a0Paris,\u00a0about which I blogged in\u00a0<a title=\" mended things exhibition\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alisonschwabe.com\/weblog\/?p=328\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Totally Memorable Exhibition<\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 I wandered off to google about mending things in general, and found lots of articles, many of which mention kintsugi, the Japanese art of mending ceramics with a\u00a0&#8216;golden seam&#8217;\u00a0 &#8211;
