During the blogs on the creation of this group of quilts, this was the one I\u00a0used repeatedly to show various stages; so here it\u00a0is finished and named “Tidelines 9”<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>Shortly after the photography, the quilts “Tidelines” 8 – 12\u00a0\u00a0were\u00a0on their way to Australia where they will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>appear in the Golden Textures Exhibition in Maryborough Vic, next February.\u00a0 The design inspiration for each quilt were\u00a0some\u00a0sand ripple patterns photographed on my beach walks, hence the title.<\/p>\n

Computer manipulation of the images simplified the shapes.<\/p>\n

The whole saga of how I got to stencilling the\u00a0gold shapes,\u00a0 followed by free machined stitch lines and stippled quilting was posted in October.\u00a0<\/span> <\/em><\/p>\n
