{"id":181,"date":"2006-04-14T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2006-04-14T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alison.gloderworks.net\/weblog\/?p=181"},"modified":"2006-04-14T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2006-04-14T17:00:00","slug":"chocolate-overload","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alisonschwabe.com\/weblog\/?p=181","title":{"rendered":"Chocolate overload &#8211;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/4201\/926\/640\/DSC00017.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"CLEAR: all; FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 10px 10px 0px; CURSOR: hand\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/photos1.blogger.com\/blogger\/4201\/926\/320\/DSC00017.jpg\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>  Yesterday we wandered into one of our favourite browsing stores here, and right now it is probably the same in many places around the world &#8211; easter eggs and other chocolate fancies and novelties piled high to meet the annual choc buying and eating splurge that so often presents as &#8216;Easter&#8217; , blinding many to the real point of this particular Christian festival.  <em><strong>We thought we had seen everything <\/strong><\/em>until we came across this <em><strong>chocolate fountain playing as a focal point of the easter egg display.<\/strong><\/em>  The notice on the front of the fountain warns that the contents of this fountain are for display purposes only, and the stuff is not edible.  I did a hand\/heat test, touching the outside of the fountain from the other side before I read the sign, and it was quite cold.
